CipherTel fixed-wireless tower serving homes across regional Western Australia
For homes & lifestyle blocks

Home internet that actually reaches you

City wait lists and "computer says no" coverage maps don't help when you live out of town. CipherTel builds its own fixed-wireless and fibre network so regional WA homes get a fast, reliable connection — and a local team behind it.

Ways to connect

Two proven ways to get your home online

We'll recommend whichever suits your address best — and tell you honestly if neither reaches you yet.

Fibre & NBN

Where the NBN fibre network reaches your street, we can connect you as your provider — a high-capacity wired connection with local CipherTel support behind it.

  • High-capacity wired connection
  • Ideal for working & studying from home
  • Available where the NBN reaches — speed confirmed per address

Local, end to end

Built for regional homes — supported by regional people

We're not a national call centre with a WA postcode. Our network is designed, built and monitored from Bunbury, so when you call about your home connection you're talking to the team that runs the towers.

  • 100% Australian-owned, operated from Bunbury
  • Network monitored 24/7 from our NOC
  • Honest coverage answers before you commit

Good to know

Residential questions, answered

Do I need a phone line or NBN connection?

No. Our fixed-wireless service runs over CipherTel's own radio network, so it doesn't rely on a copper phone line or an NBN connection at your address.

What does "line of sight" mean for my home?

Fixed wireless needs a clear path between your antenna and one of our towers. Hills, dense trees or large buildings can block it — which is exactly what our site assessment checks before anything is installed.

I'm outside town — can you still connect me?

Often, yes — connecting the hard-to-reach is what we do. The coverage checker gives you an immediate indication, and if you're just outside current coverage we'll flag your location as we expand the network.

Who do I call if something goes wrong?

Our Bunbury team, on (08) 9726 5000. The same people who build and monitor the network handle support — no offshore queue.
